Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Mohamad the morning manager. I was there with a friend and needed disabled access room, which was good. The room was very close to the lift and stairs with a wet room and plenty of room to move around. The restaurant was quite busy in the morning at breakfast and Mohamad realised I could not use the tables which were free (too high or too low) so he ensured we had the next available table which would suit my needs as it became free. It was also very close to the buffet so less walking for me. May seem like a small thing to do but being newly disabled it was a big thing for me, thanks so much. I would use the hotel again.

The welcome we received from Lili was probably the best I’ve ever had, in any hotel, anywhere in the world! To walk through the door and be greeted in such a welcoming manner was fantastic and Lili is an absolute credit to the company. We travel all over the UK watching our football team and often stay in hotels. This year we’ve used Holiday Inns quite a lot, but this one was the best and the staff were the difference. After the game Lili had finished her shift and we were welcomed back by the night staff, who were excellent also. The staff in a hotel make a huge difference.

The place was very clean, with the occasional exception of dining room tables, outside breakfast time. Staff were very welcoming and professional, parking is available on site for £10 a day, breakfast choices were suitable for the price you pay (full English and continental available), and a bean-to-cup coffee machine that dispenses delicious fresh coffee. The area is quiet, given its secluded setting, the views to the lake are amazing, and main tourist points within walking distance. Hot food available on site for snacks and main meals, cold drinks available.

All staff we met during our stay was very friendly, approachable and helpful. I was very pleasantly surprised by the hotel’s location. Very quiet, nice area, next to artificial lake. We had window view to the lake. Room very pleasant and clean. Beds very comfortable. After the event we had pizza in the bar offered by the kitchen. Very tasty. Breakfast was also very tasty. Breakfast area has also sitting outside option overlooking the lake. That’s just beautiful! I would defo book this hotel again.

Comfortable room, got a space in the car park. We booked it for a concert at Alexandra head. Was about a 20 minute walk so all good. Great selection of bars and restaurants at the bay. Staff in the hotel were lovely and the breakfast was nice, options of a full English, cereal, yogurt, toast, muffins, croissants, tea, coffee and fruit juice all buffet style. Would happily stay again.
